Select Captain

Select Captain is an indie-folk duo built around Kristian Gaarskjær and Søren Vestergaard.

On their new album Roots, Select Captain return with a collection of songs that lie in the field of modern dark folk and atmospheric indie.

It's an album that point forward and add new colours to the duo's personal and peculiar soundscape. Traditional and modern at the same time with lyrical themes centered around the duality of life and the intricate design of existence.

Founded in 2014, initially as a solo project, Select Captain has released 5 albums, had numerous songs on National Danish Radio and toured home and abroad opening for names like George Ezra, Ed Harcourt, The Lone Bellow, Jonny Lang, Lissie, Seafret and many more along the way.
