Native Los Angeleno here...extroverted introvert, social anti-socialist. Artist to the core - it's all about creation and evolution. And revolution. Where to begin? In 1994, when I was 19, I began my own underground nightclub. I was tired of the Gothic club scene in Hollywood and wanted to do my own thing. I continued to successfully run and host nightclubs (dance & countless live bands) for 15 years. My clubs were: Wake, Shadowrealm, FUNERAL, Burial and Queen Mother. During those years, I also started a few bands including VSoRRoW, THE CHASTE, and NOCTURNA (a tribute to Siouxsie & the Banshees). In 2000, my dark rendition of "Little Drummer Boy" was used in major motion picture 'Reindeer Games'. By 2009, I had become extremely burnt-out with the whole ideology behind the L.A. Gothic movement so I reconnected with a mindset and genre that had moved me since I was teenage backyard slam-dancer with huge hair: Punk. So I opened up a brick and mortar store, my dream: MEOWMEOWZ!, which actually started as an eBay store in 2001 selling the same as I do now: vintage rock n' roll vintage clothing, tshirts, footwear and music. I began to miss my Gothic dance events and reopened FUNERAL in May 2012 and kept it going til April 2014 as an all ages monthly phantasmagoria. I recorded a full length album entitled HUNT (available everywhere!) with Untoward Children and played out all over Southern California and beyond.
