"Music is an amazing thing in the sense that it taps into a very primal aspect of your psyche and can have an immediate effect on your mood. It can make you happy, exuberant, reminiscent, and care-free. I want my music to bring people to these moments. That is why I do this" The recent EDM boom in the US has fostered a growing appreciation for catchy, rhythmic music. And Brandon Thomas, known as Haze ioN, decided he wanted to be apart of this new and exciting boom. Starting from humble beginnings djing at a hookah lounge in San Jose, he built a small following of fans who loved his harder, more edgier progressive sound. The support of that small following was enough for him to establish himself as an up-and-coming Dj/Producer in the Bay Area. After moving to southern California in 2011 to pursue his musical career, he joined with 2 other fellow California DJ's, Vinh "4 Symbols" Quach and John "Johxy" Ta to form the trio IntraphoniC. The group went on to have great success in 2012 and 2013, Djing along side names such as Above and Beyond, Fedde Le Grand, Mat Zo, Tritonal, and more at some of California's most notable EDM Nightclubs. The end of 2013 begins a new chapter for Brandon. Departing off the great success of IntraphoniC, he plans on advancing and developing himself as a producer/dj. With his early tracks already gaining support from Laidback Luke and Ken Loi, it is only a matter of time before fans of progressive house all over will begin to recognize the name, "Haze ioN".
