About Nam Shub of Enki

New Album Spiel: We're delighted to announce the release of yet another super-awesome rave-fueled orgy of bass, dancing, awesomeness, and music that will utterly delight your ears and other bodily bits. Yes, Namshub - AKA Phil from Monster Zoku Omsomb has allowed us to release some of his many incredible tunes for all to download and enjoy. Calling him a genius does him a disservice, as he masterfully warps all the concepts of contemporary dance music into a rich tapestry of all things rave. It's not just futuristic - it's also just DAMN GOOD! tHE nAM sHUB oF eNKI/ KIKI.ILL nAM-sHUB oF eNKI has been Producing, Performing & DJing electronic music in Australia since the mid 90's. His music remains uncategorizable though fuzes many elements of industrial, jungle, bass culture and experimental synthesis to create a unique idiosyncratic sound. He is also the producer behind 'shockabilly electro' group Monster Zoku Onsomb! Releasing 2 EP's and 3 Albums on Death$ucker (UK) & Solnz (RUSSIA). nAM - sHUB also recently completed the soundtrack for Sony PS3 game "Eat Them" distributed worldwide. nAM-sHUB oF eNKI has released 5 albums, 4 12" EPs, countless compilation tracks under many pseudonyms and collaborated with Snog/Black Lung(Ant/Zen), The Berzerker (Earache), Nottkea Rotta (Fin-hop), Goto 80 (SWE) and many others to create unique hybrid electronica. In the live context the nAM-sHUB has gained a formidable reputation- rinsing his trax out of shape with waves of bass being splintered with sharp beats, dsp manipulation, screaming not to mention FUN!. He has toured Europe 4 times and has played along side a variety of the worlds best including Luke Vibert, The Panacea, Surgeon, Tipper, Vex'd, Richard Devine, Otto Von Schirach and even Fat Boy Slim (yes really). He has also played almost every Australian Festival and Rave including Big Day Out, Livid, Earthcore, Advent'jah and many warehouse and club events of many genres. 2011 sees the formation of new band "Hi-Freqs" releasing an EP on Bandcamp described as "Occult Techno", 2 new nAM-sHUB albums - one on Cockrockdisco, and a new LP on Retort records. He is currently on his 5th European tour playing Glade festival UK, Olympus festival Greece and club shows in Finland and looking for more shows to fill out the end of the year. Pretty impossible to describe, I guess it's "nowwave" if that term applies to more than just Tim Exile." nAM-sHUB oF eNKI - Destroy Everything. "Destroy everything is an adventurous album that goes a step further than you would expect of a breakcore recording. Truly crossing boundaries. Recommended to people who have had it with the conventional rules of dance music." from gothtronic.com. Films, electronics, beats, feedback, samples, vocals, remixes; this album goes everywhere. The Nam Shub Of Enki delivers a dizzying array of sounds, and it does it in a way that works. Nam Shub gives himself the freedom to let music take him where he wants without restrictions while he gives his listeners the opportunity to joyfully get lost in the chaos. Richie Corelli - soundsect.com. Kiki.ILL EP "To call it original would be a gross understatement. I would strongly recommend this album to those who are registering early symptoms of boredtodeathofdance.com. Quite frankly it fucking rules." John Askew - Kiss FM (UK). "A killer onslaught that does not let off, pow pow pow, bang. Give me more kiki/ill!" Tesselate Magazine review UK. nAM-sHUB oF eNKI meets kiki.ILL - "In the Valley of Mood"(2005) " Detailed and psychedelic productions that are jaw dropping, so do yourself a favor and check it out. Natan - boston.tribe.net. IF YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME PLEASE CONTACT: namshubofenki [at] hotmail [dot] com - I DO NOT COMMUNICATE VIA FACEBOOK.
