Scuare

Scuare is an American Hip Hop artist based in Austin, Texas. His easily recognizable style blends raw honesty and introspection, alongside interesting and ever evolving rhyme schemes and cadences. Although Scuare is heavily influenced by many of the classics, he is not afraid to venture out of the traditional comfort zone in order to craft a fresh perspective through his music. He has been described as, “...that rare tongue-twisting linguist whose tightly wound rhymes don't besiege his ability to show true emotion. Surging from soulful hook melodies to bullet hole triple-time and back again, this is one ‪‎ATX hip hop‬ emcee who you absolutely cannot sleep on.” With the release of his first full length project, “Alphabet Soup”, in late 2013, followed by the ep “On Purpose” in 2014, Scuare established himself as a unique voice in an ever growing Austin Hip Hop scene. His early involvement with popular open mic night Austin Mic Exchange, as both an artist and host, helped to shape his onstage presence and led to shows throughout Texas. He has recently opened for Homeboy Sandman, Oddisee, Cannibal Ox, and Dilated Peoples.
