About Division
There are 3 bands that actively use the name Division.
The first is Division, an American Power Metal band. No songs about dragons, mystical journeys, or castles, just hard hitting pure metal with aggression, melody, and a slight attitude problem. Fans of Maiden, Iced Earth, old school Metallica, and suchlike will probably find something to like here.
The second Division is punk band from the Chicagoland area, specifically the western suburbs (Naperville, Downers Grove). They were originally on Sinister Label, and were distributed through RedLine Distribution, both local Chicago companies. They formed in 1999, and still play to this day. Their last release was a split with the band Open Heart Surgery, and the last show they played was on Sept. 27 of 2007.
3rd is the rap group affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan.
