About Lady Mg
Lady Mg (formerly Michelle Marie) is a Puerto Rican-American singer-songwriter, producer, and musician from Portland, OR. Influenced by her favorite artists Beyoncé and Shakira, her music is a fusion of pop, Latin, R&B, and hip-hop. She began singing at a young age and discovered her passion for production and performance in college as she began recording covers of Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas.
As a classically trained vocalist who studied music composition, arrangement, and musical theater in college, she has continued expanding her musical abilities by collaborating with other producers and artists. Since 2006, she has been performing on stage in various venues, leading bands, and playing at special events. She was Eclectic Republic's singer and bass player from March 2017 until the end of 2018, and opened for the legendary rappers Ghostface Killah and Raekwon, as well as Curren$y. She will be pursuing her solo career in 2019, so stay tuned for upcoming shows and music releases!
