About Hallie

“Singer, songwriter, and producer Hallie has really nailed the indie-rock anthem.” - Notion

“With a helluva voice, infectious songwriting and a mad aesthetic to go with it, her new songs exploded on stage with some added bite and had her hometown crowd going bananas. All aboard!” - triple j

“I have an inkling that you will resonate with Hallie’s music, whether it be through instrumental or songwriting. They sing with a certain kind of charm, using the medium of sound to explore topics of identity, sexuality, and gender, in a way that feels lucky to hear.” - Early Rising

“(Hallie) is the essential piece of brand new music that you need to add to your playlist tonight, the artist you have to get on board with. There is a lot of competition when it comes to pop music, but finding a balance between writing pop music, and making sure that it is almost like it is infected with other styles, things that you love, is a really difficult thing to pull off. Hallie has done it brilliantly.” - Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1)

Queer pop newcomer Hallie (they/she) shares their dazzling debut EP This Is Love. Inspired by their life and experiences as they explore the fluidity of their emotions, identity, sexuality and gender, This Is Love consists of five alt-pop anthems, each one seemingly more inviting than the last. Next, the rising star is taking their electric live show on tour across the east-coast of Australia for the 'Love A Lot' headline tour this July.

This Is Love follows on from previous singles 'Do It' and 'Love' which received an add on triple j and support from BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, seeing Hallie as one of his “Next Wave” artists. Hallie was also listed by Gay Times, Popbuzz and NME as an artist to watch in 2023. Hallie and the EP have been championed by the likes of Early Rising, Ones To Watch, Notion, DIY Magazine, ET Online, The Line Of Best Fit, MTV, Pop Buzz, Just Jared, Atwood Magazine and many more. Hallie has also recently hit the road supporting Alex Lahey and Teenage Dads on their nation-wide tours. With all this, and their debut EP out now - the future is undoubtedly bright for Hallie.
