Monster Ceilidh Band welcomes you to our Bands in Town page - a place where a nuclear tipped instrumental folk warhead gets to meet funk, DnB, EDM, Synths, rock riffs and rhythms head on, and the fall-out never fails to encourage audiences the world over to get up and party!

We’ve been pioneering a unique mix of styles from the outset, always with the irresistible hit you get from great traditional and contemporary folk tunes, in our recordings and infectious live performances at major events and festivals such as Boom Town, Greenman, Bestival, Sidmouth and Cambridge amongst many more.

Like a strong wind hurling in from the North East, it can be hard to describe - but you know when it hits you! Get ready to have your senses well and truly rattled! You also may have seen some of them backing the famous North East piper Kathryn Tickell.
