Backattack Soundsystem

Backattack Soundsystem is Zwolle’s first hand-built soundsystem: a fully self-contained 5-way roots reggae & dub system from the Netherlands, launched on 23 April 2016 at R10 in Zwolle. We play Jamaican roots, UK roots, dub and early dancehall on vinyl and dubplates — at our own sessions in Zwolle, with guests like The Mighty Dread Warrior Machine, Roy Simeon, Slimmah Sound and Food Bass Shelter, and at festivals and events across the Netherlands and Europe.

We bring the complete soundsystem and crew — all we need is power. For festivals we can host a complete, self-sufficient area with our own stretch tents.
