About fromyourbed
Roslyn Winter Echo (they/em) was born in New Zealand but now resides in Washington. Inspired by many artists including the likes of Snow Patrol, Jeff Pianki, Bon Iver & The Paper Kites, Roslyn's music is an introspection on memories and a cathartic process. Their songs center in the folk-pop realm.
Whilst 17 and graduating high school, they recorded their first full length LP, 'Falling Up' and released in June, 2020. After some time and rediscovery, sophomore record 'cards' came out in in August, 2021.
2022 saw the release of four new records & some songs here and there. In April, 'glimpses' & in August with album 'face and' created with Eli Utter.
And in November, co-produced with Eli Utter & Talis Auseth titled, 'For Nazomi, On the Windowsill' released. The album featured many talents including 10 vocalists, musician friends Luka Simpson, Daniel Marcotte, Eli Utter, cellist August Posch & guitarist Chivan Lim of WINEHOUSE.
Following, 'curveball!' was made & released in December; being a sister-record of sorts to earlier venture, 'face and'.
More recently, they have been performing primarily in their current hometown, Olympia, WA or Seattle/Portland. + being part of jonny's boy band, Jack Jay, Continuum & Fern Spores + assisiting with projects by dear friend Eli Utter & more.
On December 31, 2023, their band Continuum released their first self-titled album; And its such a bubble of fun to em.
