About The Autumn Hollow Band

Autumn Hollow is an authentic and explosive Boston-based roots rock band. Their eponymous second album, a follow up to their critically acclaimed 2010 debut Love Letters and Ransom Notes, leaves everything on the table, showcasing the group’s catchy, quirky, and energetic songwriting. Produced by Universal/CBS records artist and producer Will Dailey, the album was recorded in the upper floor of an upholstery factory in the industrial section of Waltham, MA. The floors creaked, police sirens wailed, and the temperatures rose as recording sessions went late into the summer nights (if you listen closely you can hear the sweat dripping off the instruments and gear) – a dense and tightly knit atmosphere is imprinted on the songs themselves. The album was also mixed at SpirtHouse Recording Studio by Danny Bernini (NRBQ, Martin Sexton, Steve Earle). Songs like the album’s first single “Orlando Brown” (a tribute to the former Ravens football player), showcase frontman Brendan Murphy’s unique songwriting style which is both intimate and anthemic. Red Line Roots writes, “It makes me want to be in the crowd … so I can sing along, raise my drink in the air and cheers to the whole audience.” An authentic and explosive Boston-based roots rock band.
