If star power is measured by an artist’s ability to make listeners feel every lyric, then Matt Wynn is proving he’s one of country music’s most compelling rising voices. With a rich, soulful vocal reminiscent of Chris Stapleton, Ronnie Dunn and Travis Tritt, Matt Wynn delivers performances that leave audiences hanging on every word.

Building his career one song at a time, Matt has spent years honing his craft as both an artist and songwriter. Along the way, he’s shared writing rooms with many of the artists who inspired him growing up, including Phil Vassar, Aaron Tippin, Billy Dean, Andy Griggs, James Otto, Reba McEntire and more.

“All those folks are my heroes, and they were the soundtrack of my life growing up,” says Matt. “Now it’s crazy that I get to call many of them friends and write with them. It’s amazing. You can absolutely turn your dreams into reality if you’re willing to work for them.”

A seasoned performer, Matt has entertained audiences across the United States and internationally, opening for artists including Luke Combs, Maren Morris, Alexandra Kay, Brothers Osborne, Brett Young, Sam Hunt, Brantley Gilbert, Vince Gill, Chris Janson, Russell Dickerson, Scotty McCreery, Tyler Farr, Phil Vassar, Trace Adkins, Gretchen Wilson, Jay Leno and many more.

His songwriting continues to gain national recognition. Reba McEntire recorded Matt’s song “Seven Minutes In Heaven” for her acclaimed 2023 album Not That Fancy, while Angel Studios featured his song “Live Like That,” performed by Kristin Chenoweth, as the end credits song for the animated feature film The King of Kings. During their collaboration, Chenoweth greeted Wynn with the unforgettable compliment, “I want your voice.”

Matt has also written multiple songs recorded by Broken Bow Records artist Alexandra Kay, including “Feminine Energy”, and “How Do We Go”, contributing to millions of streams across digital platforms. Their creative partnership has become one of her favorites, writing to Matt on a signed CD, “Matt, writing songs with you is one of the greatest joys of my life.”

Momentum continues to build in 2026 with Matt’s latest singles, “Goodbye As It Gets” and “The Hat,” currently receiving country radio airplay. During a recent interview on The Big 615 with Storme Warren, Warren jokingly introduced Matt by saying he “taught Chris Stapleton how to sing,” a lighthearted testament to Wynn’s unmistakable voice and the respect he’s earned throughout the country music community.

Whether writing songs that find homes with legendary artists, stepping on stage in front of thousands of fans, or delivering his own music to country radio, Matt Wynn continues to establish himself as one of country music’s most authentic voices.
