Eva Weingarten Music

Eva always had a profound interest in music and, starting at age 9, she began to write her own . Eva could often be found in her self-made tree house with her pen, pad, and a cream cheese bagel to fuel her creativity. Warm Central-Florida summers formed the backdrop for the poems and melodies that flowed from her imagination in these early years. Later, in the full swing of her adolescence, Eva formed a punk-rock cover band called "The Catch." In these formative years, she was inspired by the writing of band's lead guitarist, Anna, and began to view her own songwriting and performing in a more serious light. Eva has performed for various political campaigns, local and presidential, and she was given the opportunity to perform in the White House in 2011. In 2012, she travelled to England on a European tour performing at Christ’s Church in Oxford and St. Paul’s in London. During this time, she began studying under Ron Feldman who inspired her to begin recording her own demos and listening to Jazz. In 2014, Eva traveled to Haiti with Saint Margaret Mary in Winter Park, Florida as apart of her Girl Scout Gold award. She is continuing her music ministry in Haiti, most recently traveling there in August to put on a concert made up of Haitian music students for an Annual Peace Conference. In addition to her work in Haiti, Eva currently writes and records her own music and performs around Florida with her band, The Eva Weingarten Quartet.
