About Misty's Big Adventure
Misty's Big Adventure are a nine piece band from Birmingham, UK. Their music is an eclectic mix of jazz, lounge, psychedelia, two tone, pop and punk. The current lineup is Grandmaster Gareth (vocals), Hannah Baines (trumpet), Lucy Baines (saxophone), Lucy Bassett (keyboards), Matt Jones (bass), Sam Minnear (drums, percussion), John Nachtanoj (guitar), DJ Feva (decks) and Sri Erotic Volvo (dancer).
They have so far released three official albums Misty's Big Adventure And Their Place In The Solar Hi-Fi System, The Black Hole, and Funny Times. There are also at least two CD albums that they have sold at their UK shows: Grumpy Fun and Grumpier Fun.
A new album, Television's People, is to be released in October 2008.
They have supported The Zutons, The Magic Numbers, The Guillemots and 50 Foot Wave on UK Tours.
