Emerging from the raw passion between vocal powerhouse Tara Rez and mastermind Andy Thierum, The Duel has stood as an unwavering beacon in UK punk for over two decades. Now, reimagining their iconic energy, The Duel is hitting the road with a special twist! Paul Laventhol - a founding member of King Kurt and featured on The Duel's first three albums - is back and teaming up with Tara Rez for live shows as a dynamic two-piece electronic punk/dance duo. Tara Rez brings the heat with her lead vocals & electronics, while Paul Laventhol electrifies with his guitar & backing vocals.
With a staunch DIY ethos, they've carved out a niche since their debut, "Let's Finish What We Started" (2007), Brace yourself for their new single "Rule The World," co-written/produced with Segs Jennings of Ruts/Ruts DC, dropping onNovember 2023. And for those vinyl aficionados out there, a special limited edition 7" Vinyl is coming too. be sure to stay tuned for more news as it happens :) .
