About Ukiyo
Will Smith & Casey Neistat borrow his songs for vlogs. US pop star Pharrell Williams and Dutch DJ Martin Garrix popped him on their playlists. And Swedish vlogger PewDiePie often has his music playing during gaming clips. It’s promotion that money can’t buy & thanks to these big name fans, Perth’s Timothy Arnott has amassed over 47 million streams across DSPs, and syncs with American Eagle, Ripcurl, HBO and Netflix for the handful of electronic songs released under his Ukiyo moniker. The 24 year old multi-instrumentalist and producer produces electronic music that blends across hip-hop, EDM and classical motifs that create an atmosphere that’ll take you anywhere from a road trip to the dance floor.
Ukiyo stepped on the radar with the release of his debut 'Calling' EP, with each of the four tracks dabbling in their own infectious production techniques and sound. 2018 brought new highs with the chart-topping ‘Something Like This’ and the accompanying ‘Fantasy’ EP, which launched a national headline tour, followed by 2019’s 8 track ‘Ukiyo Mixtape, Vol. 1’.
2020 kicked off with ‘Midnight Sun’, a collaboration with critically acclaimed Atlanta-based producer OTR, featured in Netflix’s ‘To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You’ & reached it's peak with the long awaited release of Ukiyo’s full length self-titled debut album.
