About Stine Grove

To singer-songwriter, producer and independent artist, Stine Grove, music has been a lifelong passion and ever-pulling current, evolving since early childhood when her Father encouraged her to sing along with him accompanied by the gentle strumming of his guitar. With more than fifteen years of piano training and live experience playing keyboards in various bands, Stine Grove is a skilled pianist and composer. Her soprano voice has been both rhythmically and classically trained during more than two decades of choir and ensemble singing, which has influenced her ethereal yet powerful signature singing style. In 2002 Grove achieved top marks for her vocals, piano skills and music theory analysis in Music Theory & Music Performance at the final exams with the teacher’s remark “She’s a multi-talent and unusually musically gifted”. Stine Grove’s first professional musical work saw the light of day with her production of instrumental theme music for the TV show ‘Equipage’, which was broadcast on Danish TV in 2008. Shortly after, Grove started writing and recording top lines for producers within the international electronic dance music scene, and by now she has worked with some of the most respected producers and DJ’s within the genre, including Lange, Solarstone, Headstrong, The Thrillseekers, Ronski Speed, RAM, Nitrous Oxide and Grammy nominee Andy Moor. In 2013 her vocals were broadcast on Romanian national TV in the popular TV show Romania’s Got Talent, when the songs ‘Tears’ and ‘The Hurt’ were used as dance performance soundtracks by the contestants ‘Uninvented Theatre’, making their way into the semi-finals. After the broadcast of the show, ‘Tears’ went to #1 position in the Romanian commercial charts. Stine Grove’s vocals have appeared more than 30 times on Armin van Buuren’s popular radio show, A State of Trance, and most of Grove’s later collaborations have picked up support from the world’s DJ elite, including Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Markus Shulz and Ferry Corsten. Moreover some of Grove’s collaborations have had additional support by BBC Radio 1 and MTV. With continuous inspiration and more songs and music in the works, Stine Grove’s yearning to evolve as an artist can never be silenced. Seeking out new musical adventures, both solo and with artists with whom she shares a common musical understanding, the future is looking bright for this songstress. ”Heavenly vocals” – RAM ”It’s quite rare to work on a track, where you don’t have to tune the vocals at all. Well done, Stine, full marks.” – Solarstone “A very distinctive voice” – Lange “I’m pretty certain Stine Grove is the first vocalist I haven’t had to autotune. Solid stuff.” “The voice of an angel.”– The Thrillseekers www.stinegrove.com
