Other than some difficulty in the sound mix , hearing vocals and the guest violinist, it went well. These are all High School kids who play a tight set with good energy and enthusiastic friends in their audience. Working on getting them a gig outside their area.

About Legends of Et cetera

Legends of Et cetera formed in Baltimore in 2013, when the oldest member was 16 and the youngest 14. They are Serena Miller on guitar and vocals, Graham vonBriesen on bass and vocals, and Jakob Coburn on drums. (Mack Watson, the band's original keyboard player, recently left the group.)

As teenagers, they placed second in WTMD's 2015 Baltimore Band Block Party, after which they played a Live Lunch and An Evening With, which celebrated the release of their 14-song debut album, Coyote.

Serena and Graham, first cousins, have been playing together since middle school, when they played in a cover band called Oxi-Morons (they now perform together as the acoustic duo Birdhouse). Serena met Jakob at School of Rock, and they soon formed a duo called Riot!, performing covers at places like the celebrated Recher Theater, until Graham and Mack (Serena's best friend since age three) joined them and took the name Legends of Et cetera.

Serena, almost 20, studies composition at Peabody Conservatory. Jakob, 19, studies drums at Berklee College of Music. And Graham, 18, is a senior at Towson High.

You can hear several of their songs—"Give Up the Ghost," "Coyote," "Sydney"—regularly on Baltimore station 89.7 WTMD.

On January 6, Serena's 20th birthday, the band will release their five-song record, Cardboard City.
