About Baskervillain
Returning from an extended hiatus, dynamic Brisbane-based quartet Baskervillain are back on the scene to release their new single, ‘Bitter Pink’. After a one-off sold-out show in October last year, the band are pleased to announce a string of dates along the east coast in support of the release. They come back creatively refreshed and fortified; changed but still sharing the same magnificent musical chemistry that has always been present between them.
Staying true to the band's eclectic nature and evolving sonic palette, Bitter Pink is an ode to the shifting challenges the band members have faced in recent times, involving the see-saw of mental health, substance abuse, and the bitter-sweet balancing act of life. This latest cut features collaboration with Matt Luff & Daniel Grima (of Astro Travellers & Twin Haus) and is also their first track to be solely produced and mixed by the band, spearheaded by bassist Jack McKenzie.
