The Orb

I have seen The Orb many times since 1993 and this was one of my favourites. My first time at Peak Cavern and what a venue for this genre of music. People lost to the beat, moving as one in the moves primal setting I have been to. The set was a perfect build from hypnotic trance through to ambient dance hidden under the hills of the white peak.

Amazing venue, good crowd and sound system. Just a shame they were oy on for an hour and a quarter. Especially as Mr Scruff was on for longer!

Started 30 minutes to late. And after 90 minutes they stopped with the program. Music stopped en leaking away wit squicky noises. The show was very good, love the orb sounds.

Perpetual, seemlesley Undulatingly intermingled track new and old. A banging evening had by all .

The Orb were as awesome as always. Great to see Alex and to hear some new songs as well the classics. Great evening.

Brilliant mixture of old and new, echoes of the massive 90s sounds, absorbing and delighting us. Great visuals and Ozrics on psychedelic form **

What a totally Amazin Gig !!! The Orb were just the Orb.. however long it has been (2010 Glastonbury) They never cease to Amaze !!! Dreadzone love ❤ them, getting abit of a regular when I can !!!! Loved every minute of it. My bestie & I booked an hotel for the night which was fab too. Thank you everyone who made our night ,venue 1865. We like it there, a good club. Best night and very H.A.P.P.Y afterwards 👌!!!! Love ❤

First time visiting the Metronome and it is a great venue with handy parking nearby. Been wanting to see The Orb for some time and loved the gig. Alongside some more recent songs they played some classics such as Blue Room, Earth and Little Fluffy Clouds. Some great visuals accompanied each song made it a great night Would go to the venue again and would definitely see the Orb again

Couldn’t attend due to an ambulance shift , couldn’t get a refund 🥲 but saw them at the Cheese and Grain in Frome and they were awesome…. Highly recommend, 🥰

I feel bad for artists that have recorded so much music over 30-40 years but still are more or less enslaved playing the same tracks from their first 2 albums but I was delighted. Uforb is one of my all time faves so to hear nearly every track from that and Assassin as well as tracks from “Ultraworld” made me very happy indeed. Anyway, I’m not complaining it was great to see the legendary Dr Alex playing some classic tunes in a lovely venue with really nice people enjoying a dance.

Nice deep house music, expensive ticket for a DJ set with no video or lighting production.

Smallish crowd, but the Orb rocked the place. It's been 30 years (almost to the day) since I last the Orb. It was a fresh sounding set, seemingly all new versions of older racks. Brilliant

The Orb (Alex Patterson) are pioneers in music and well worth going to see. This was a great gig in a small venue.

Really fun show !! Loved the atmosphere and the seated auditorium all getting up to dance

Great Show, endless & creative mixes for old tracks & new tracks alike, The Orb live mixes outshine there album versions everytime, they don't come to USA often but when they do make sure to see them you will not be disappointed! TIMELESS👍

Their set was on point, I always try to see them when they come.

Alex really gave Philly a treat with a dj set before the opening act; an excellent surprise bonus!!!

Great to see music like this in Paisley. Well done lads for playing a good set on a cold miserable night
