About Onda
A NYC-based collective of musicians, composers, producers and DJs, ONDA was formed in 2000 by Rene Arsenault, Michaelangelo L’Acqua and Gregg Fine. Since then, ONDA has written, recorded and remixed music for major record labels, provided original scoring, music supervision & licensing for films, television commercials & fashion shows and has performed at clubs & venues around the globe.
After acting as musical directors for Tom Ford’s Gucci and YSL European collections in 2001, ONDA was tapped by JSM Music as an in-house production team. While at JSM, ONDA scored an award winning Cotton, Inc television campaign, recorded their first singles for Naked Music/Astralwerks and continued to collaborate with designers in New York, Milan, and Paris.
After a year at JSM, ONDA Studioes opened its doors in NYC’s meatpacking district. With the addition of Criag DeLeon as Creative Director, ONDA continues to be in-demand for their ability to fuse styles and create genre-blending sounds.
