About Samsara Brothers

NURVOUS RECORDS (NYC) SULLIVAN ROOM RECORDS (NYC) KLANG GYMNASTIK (GERMANY) 7 STAR MUSIC (AMSTERDAM) Long time staples in the NYC House Music Scene, brothers Corey and Ryan Negrin, known together as SAMSARA BROTHERS (aka SAMSARA) have been busy lighting up Manhattan's most prestigious dance floors for over 17 years. Pulling from a variety of different influences, the boys move and educate every crowd they encounter with their ability to effortlessly cross multiple genres within a set. The brother's ability to properly open, keep, and close a room has gained them enormous respect from the NYC dance music community. Whether headlining their own night, or opening for artist such as Sasha, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Dyed Soundorom, Guy J, Oliver Hunteman, Gui Boratto, Marco Bailey, Chris Fortier, Nick Curly, Hernan Cattaneo, Desyn Masiello, Stacey Pullen, Joris Voorn, Sultan, Luke Fair, Satoshi Tomie, Behrouz, Scumfrog, Sebastian Leger, Evil Eddie Richards, Felix the House Cat, Clive Henry, Matthias Tanzmann, UMEK, D: Fuse and Derrick May among many others, to renown dance music recording artist Nadia Ali, they never disappoint. The brothers have played almost every major club in NYC over the span of there career, from the now defunct Crobar/Studio Mezmor/Mansion, Tunnel, Limelight/Avalon, Roxy, Exit, Shelter, Rebel, Le Souk, D36, and Love, to current internationally recognized venues such as Cielo, Pacha, TBA, Le Bain, Highline Ballroom, Le Poisson Rouge and Webster Hall. They are also frequent guest for New York powerhouse promoters Verboten, as well as the highly praised Bespoke Music. For the majority of their career, the SAMSARA BROTHERS maintained an 8 year residency at New York's legendary underground house music venue, Sullivan Room, where they hosted their acclaimed CoCo LoCoS party along with owner Sergie Sklyarenko for 4 years, as well as frequent gigs for KGB, Basic NYC, Flawless and Global Frequencies events. More recently they were residents at Sullivan Room's Propaganda Saturday brand, until the unfortunate sudden closing in November 2013. Outside of the Big Apple, the SAMSARA BROTHERS have made high-profile national/international appearances in Las Vegas, Dallas, Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, to Montreal, Amsterdam and Ukraine, as well as gigs for 9 years at Miami's Winter Music Conferences, including the 2002 and 2003 Ultra Music Festival. Recently diving into the world of production, their first signed track, a collaboration with the duo Grass is Greener, was a nu disco rendition of Bananarama's "Cruel Summer", signed and release by the highly acclaimed Nurvous Records. The track rose and maintained the #17 position in the world, on Beatport's Top 100 Nu Disco/Indie Dance charts. Following that release were two tracks on the highly anticipated SRR premier release (Sullivan Room Records) - An original titled "Become", and an original collaboration with Rami Deejay (Pattern Drama / Bedouin) called "Tonight" which were both received very well, and have been supported by several global taste makers. "Tonight" made it to Beatport's Top Ten Must Hear Deep House Tracks Week 29, and was a featured release. After such a successful release on Nurvous, Grass is Greener commissioned two more remixes set for a summer release, "Bow Bow" on Germany's Klang Gymnastik (June 2014) , and a remix of Alphaville's "I Die For You Today" on Amsterdam's 7 Star Music (July 2014).
