Sianne Dougherty (Tūwharetoa, Kai Tahu) is blazing her way as the new wahine force on the Aotearoa NZ music scene. Sianne brings the modern sound with old soul R'n'B & Reggae and a voice that is incomparable. Her tone rich & smooth bringing power with a manoeuvrability to reach notes with ease. Sianne will bring silence and attention capturing the hearts of soul seekers as she takes you on a journey following her dreams and aspirations in music.

Since her debut single 'Azaelea' was released in 2017 and featured in the NZ Singles charts, the song has amassed over 2 million in streams and views. Sianne has since followed up with more songs including the summer reggae flavours ‘For You’, ‘Coming For You’ & ‘He Ao Hou’.

2021 has seen the release of another sunshine vibe in ‘Remedy’ accompanied with an intimate music video. Sianne is no stranger to television either as a winner of Homai te Pakipaki and this year features in the Māori Television series Waiata Nation with her latest waiata and video for ‘Whakarehu’, a song she wrote back to herself reflecting on the struggles as a young teen to not lose hope on your dreams and aspirations.

A local of the music scene in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Sianne has amassed thousands of social media followers due to the incredible range of her voice and her ability to hit a power note that is uncharacteristic of kaiwaiata in New Zealand. Keep an ear out for new music coming soon.
