First time ever seeing him live and listening to his music. I was just accompanying my partner. I had an amazing time. He is a perfect entertainer and very real. Nothing about him is pretentious. I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

About Reggie and the Full Effect
Reggie and the Full Effect first burst onto the scene during a break from The Get Up Kids. James Dewees, keyboardist for the forementioned group wrote, recorded and performed all of the music and vocals himself. What started off as a gimmick would end up turning into a full touring band. As a former drummer for Coalesce, James has written some hardcore parts into Reggie and the Full Effect (Coalesce singer Sean Ingram shows up randomly through RATFE records).
This became more apparent when his wife filed for divorce and his music became harder than it had been and his lyrics became more personal and harsh. He played keys on one New Found Glory song and often joined them on stage during their Back to Basics tour in the spring of 2005. More recently, Dewees has announced playing keyboard on some of My Chemical Romance's new cd. When asked about "Reggie" he said that once the new MCR cd comes out, I will be touring with them and become a full blown member of MCR.
But it's been announced that his new fifth album will be out June 13th 2008
From AP:
Reggie and the Full Effect will be releasing Last Stop: Crappy Town on June 13th via Vagrant Records.

Alternative Press has exclusively obtained details on the upcoming fifth album from James Dewees' alter ego, Reggie And The Full Effect. The 12-song disc, titled Last Stop: Crappy Town, was produced by Sean Beavan (Slayer, Nine Inch Nails), and was recorded in the summer of 2006 in both New York City and Los Angeles. Dewees was joined on the record by RATFE touring drummer Billy Johnson, Slipknot's Paul Grey on bass and Coalesce's Cory White on guitar
