About Comforts
Melodic and effortlessly catchy Indie-Pop/Rock exploits. Brighton based Comforts have captured both the melancholic, colourful heartstrings of contemporary pop alongside the energetic familiarity of 00’s indie rock giants, all whilst still retaining a fresh and exciting edge.
Having worked with tastemaker producer Alexander Gordon (Sundara Karma, Blood Red Shoes, Tiger Cub, The Cure, Sea Power, Noisy), the band are known for their immediate, reverb drenched guitar melodies and effortlessly catchy vocals - kicking into grand sing-along choruses that carry throughout their entire discography and live shows. Comforts have already gained tastemaker coverage from the likes of Clout, Earmilk, Atwood Magazine and Gigslutz. The band have had a whole host of BBC Radio plays including, Chris Hawkins on BBC Radio 6 Music and local plays from BBC Introducing.
Furthermore the band continue making a name for themselves as an exciting live act to watch, having already been tipped into This Feelings nationally acclaimed ‘Big in 2023’ campaign, which has previously supported a number of breakout bands in the past, including Catfish & the Bottlemen, Blossoms, The Lathums & more. Now back with new material, the band is set for a big year ahead.
“Their cinematic indie rock is as ready for a dark n’ grungy club, as it is festival stages and arenas.” - Atwood Magazine.
“Infectious guitar riffs and catchy melodies.” - CLOUT.
