The meaning of their acronymous name is "Kannibalen in Zivil"(cannibals in civil clothes) or, as stated in earlier songs, "Künstler im Zuchthaus"(artists in penitentiary)
They released their first album "DasRapDeutschlandKettensägenMassaker" in 2005 via Royalbunker, a famous oldschool underground rap label based in Berlin, credited to have brought Battle rap in germany to a wider audience. One year later the Mixtape "Böhse Enkelz" was released on Royalbunker aswell.
In August 2007 the new album "Hahnenkampf" was released through Roaylbunker aswell.
