all the bands were really great. hadn’t listened to them until the day of the show. just saw it in bandsintown and went by myself. the venue was nice but the floor was extremely slippery when people spilled their drinks

About Sunsleeper
Sunsleeper is an emo rock band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Priding themselves in their collective commitment to music, the members of Sunsleeper have been creating and pursuing music steadfastly for years, some of them for over 10 years. Getting to create and perform is a privilege and something they don't take for granted.
Debut full-length, 'You Can Miss Something & Not Want It Back', boasts a nostalgic quality while still feeling fresh and new. The 90's indie influence is as apparent as the contemporary emo rock vibe, without forgetting a focus on structure and hooks.
Speaking of the title and theme of YCMS&NWIB, frontman Jeffery Mudgett says, "You Can Miss Something & Not Want It Back' chronicles the process of wrestling with the understanding of change and learning to accept it. More specifically the songs cover some of the harder to swallow circumstances from the time between our debut EP and recording the full length. This includes losing band members, the falling of my biggest musical influence/ "idol", wrestling with anxiety and low self-worth."
