Shakey Graves

I was a huge fan of Shakey’s style and aura in his music, and i traveled from cali to see him, but i was absolutely blown away by his performance and the way he interacted with audiences and put a twist on all his songs to make us all feel immersed in the experience. He interacted with many people in the audience (me included) weather it was talking to them or just eye contact and maybe a point. His songs have a certain style that touches my soul and i was in awe at his ability to transfer that to the stage. The best part was that i could tell he was having an absolute blast up there and he seemed to be exactly where he wanted to be. i will be going to see shakey again as soon as i can, will hopefully see yall at the shoreline in August 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Great energy! Last show of this tour and he had enough energy to make for a great show. He changed up the setlist which is appreciated. This is my 4th Shakey show and I look forward to seeing him again. Rayland Baxter was a GREAT opener! Very impressed.

I feel this is Shakey 2.0. I've been follow him since his humble Austin roots and this show with his new "Wilco-esque" band was bigger and jammier than I have ever seen him. Still the same great banter and smile and solo bits but now with even more energy and a fuller song.

Shakey Graves always puts in a great show and he and his band were so gracious to myself and my daughter when we ran into them after the concert. He even posed for a photo with us! If you ever have a chance to see these talented guys, do yourself a favor and be there! This was my 5th Shakey show and my daughter’s first!

A remarkable performance. Two Concerts in one. The first set was with the entire band. A lush set with a perpetual rich wave of sound washing over the auditorium. Playful banter, clever lyrics and tight harmonic play feeling almost psychedelic at times. The second set was his one man band filling the stage with his skillful tones, rhythms, croning and howling. My favorite part about listening to/watching SG is how intentional every word, chord, harmony and vocal slide is. It feels like sound is being sculpted in front of you.

So glad he came to France and that i could be there. The band was awesome, and Shakey Graves was as i expected.... so talented, nice and funny. Couldn't stop smiling while he was playing, singing and even speaking. Hope i'll see him again on stage.

Why an amazing show! I didn’t realize Shakey Graves wa opening when I bought the tickets but even as the ope I g act he performed amazing songs like Unkucky Skin, Tomorrow, Ready or Not and Late July, all’ while mixing in his trademark humor and thoughts on life. The highlight was a 6 minute version of Roll the Bones to warm up the crowd on a chilly night. I can’t wait to see Shakey Graves again!

I thought it was fantastic performance and I love Shakey Graves as an artist event more and evermore! Unfortunately as for the theater (***), not single great place to stand when everyone in a chair blocks the view of the artists and the great but only slightly visible light show. Good sound though.

Shakey Graves such a vibe. What stuck out to me was how amazing of a story teller he was. You were instantly involved in every moment and inside joke he told. Every lyric meant more than the time you heard it before. One of the best and most unique shows I’ve seen in awhile.

6th show for the wife and I, this one was our favorite. Such a small venue, 250 fans, felt as though we were really in the same room, compared to our last show at red rocks with tens of thousands of fans. Great show Alejandro!!!

Took my 11 year old son for his birthday. This was by far the best show I’ve ever been to, as well as the best Shakey Graves show I’ve been too over the last several years. What an incredible night we will remember forever!

Literally Ran into Alejandro on the street, great show, nice new venue. Shook hands at the end of his set, gave me a guitar pick. This was my first show swing him play indoors. Good times, I saw him the next night In Minneapolis.

Great show!! Loved that it was 3 bands!! All performances were great. I felt like I got my $$ worth.. With such a great deal... I was able to spend more on band apparell!! This makes me happy!! Thanks for fantastic everything!! Dallas loves you all!

Met up with Alejandro and Pat at Anchor Spa right before they went on stage. My buddy and I bought them a round of drinks, had a nice conversation and they gave us some guitar picks and then they went on to play an amazing show. Very good set and nice venue. Shakey Graves never disappoints.

The venue is beautiful but the sound is not.... It’s not Shakey’s fault in the least either. He puts on a great show but the bigger the venue, the less intimate it is. He was great at first ave but sound has been perfected there.

Amazing show as always! This was my second time seeing Shakey Graves for the second time at the Jefferson Theatre! and I LOVE the fact that The Jefferson is such a BEAUTIFUL venue I mean it doesn’t get much more historical or hand crafted building for music or theater! My ONLY complaint would be that the sound guy has it a little TOO loud for the acoustics in that venue! Eric has an impeccable skill of choosing places for the acoustics to sound amazing with his almost magical talent of voice and instruments! Keep it down a little on them boards! 🙂 I LOVE YOU SHAKEY AND I LOVE YOU JEFFERSON THEATER IN CHARLOTTESVILLE! 😘😘😘😘

Shakey Graves is a true treasure, he brought a fantastic show with a variety of songs to delight fans new and old. Loved the new album sound, the songs are perfect for a concert atmosphere and sounded so much richer and provided a transcendent experience.

Shakey was magnificent, but the venue (The Rustic) not so much. Buying VIP with the sideview of the stage felt more like paying a little more to have a worse experience. Gates were added to our viewing area late into arriving. The awkwardness of this section becomes more apparent when the GA section starts funneling over to the front side of VIP and places phones in your viewing area. Started 2 hours late and we left an hour early. Love you Shakey! The Rustic. It will be GA from here on out if we come back for a concert. Lesson learned

So can I just say thank you for actually starting on time? Has NEVER happened at the state theater for me before. Anyhow, Shakey played an amazing set including songs from all his albums and eps and was everything you imagine he would be live. You can truly tell he enjoys what he's doing and feels the words as he sings. And thank you to him for bringing along a fantastic opener, David Ramirez, who also played a great set full of raw emotion. Aside from the obnoxious people talking behind me an overall incredible evening.

It was a fine venue and an excellent show... If revival, roots style music is your thing, you couldn't wish for a better way to spend a Thursday evening... The opening band, Wild Child, is also worth paying attention to... I feel like they are growing into the variety they are capable of... It is quite the little package... Shakey Graves ... A man with a guitar, and Wild Child, which features a cello, a trumpet, a guitar, etc.... A great night.
