The only thing that should change is the cashless vendors , I like using cash and more people who use it the better off the US is , I understand the convenience of using a card , but cash is the better way to go. As always KWSB was overall Awesome we have seen them many times and I am just impressed with the fact that Kenny keeps the older players in the band , have been a fan of Chris Wipper Layton since seeing Stevie Ray Vaughan in the mid 80's , as he keeps the best time on the DRUMs , if you have not seen the KWSB make it a point and get out there and see some of the best Blues rock on the road today.

Kenny was amazing. Probably the best concert we've ever been to. We will see him again any time he's close to our area. Eric Gales is an amazing guitarist but it was too loud for us and not quite our style. Still it was heart-warming to see the friendship and respect between Kenny and Eric. We've introduced a couple of our friends to KWS and he now has a couple new fans. Thank you KWS for your mind-blowing performance.

We love KWS and were very excited to go to this event. The venue is beautiful! The acoustics were amazing. The seats in the “theatre style” room were very comfortable. My only disappointment was that the show was so short!! Started at 8 and ended at 9:30. I am not sure if concerts in venues like this are typically shorter?? KWS and the Band were outstanding. Definitely recommend seeing a show if you haven’t already!

Kenny Wayne was amazing! However, they FORCED KWS band to end the show when lightning was striking nearby. An hour later, they allowed Buddy Guy to do his part of the show. I'm glad we got to see Buddy Guy but it was quite obvious he is almost 87. He did more talking than singing and his guitar playing was off. He also used the f-bomb quite a bit. He did bring Kenny out to play with him but by that time we were exhausted....Kenny was amazing but it was a lot of waiting and the weather just did not cooperate.

If you love guitar...the blues...rock 'n roll...bluesrock...extremely-talented artists.....you need to attend a KWS concert. Not only did Kenny and band (Noah Hunt man) play some stuff from "Trouble Is...25", they also dove into the first album in ways you couldn't believe. In a word - Awesome! There wasn't much of a light show though so that was a little disappointing and left me asking "why not more"?"
Crystal grand is a cool, small venue but gets the job done in a simple, comfortable manner. The employees were all nice, pleasant and accommodating, although charging $10 to park on dirt (in back) I felt was gouging...c'mon man. Concession prices were ridiculous also but that's become a standard these days, although it shouldn't be!
An older rock 'n' roller like myself appreciates and thoroughly enjoys a good guitarist like KWS and band. But Kenny is one of the top 5 guitarists in the world with amazing talent and should be witnessed and enjoyed in person any chance you might get. I left the show feeling wonderful and satisfied that excellent music is still here - and that's rare in the 2020's!

The show was great and the sound sounded very good. We had a disabled parking permit. What a cluster... No one had a clue whether there were any slots left or where they were. After some consternation we finally found a spot. Not sure what can be done but people walking around during the show was the worst I've ever experienced. Not sure why a bunch of old farts like me would be wandering around so much.

The Kenny Wayne Shepherd band was fantastic! The venue is a place I like however, in an attempt to access the event center we found one of the access roads closed for construction and then entrance doors at the elevator were closed. None of which was posted for attendees to be advised in advance, which meant we had to walk through the parking garage and enter another door into the casino area where we had to walk through a smoking area. Additionally there was very little merchandise available to purchase. This may have been a short fall for those with the tour but, typically we would be interested in making a purchase if there is something available in the correct sizes or quantities. I would still recommend the venue as it is a decent size however not too big. All seats appear to be good as far as sight line's go and sound has also been good for events I have attended before and this time.

I think KWS is one of the tightest bands I've heard in a long time. I've seen so many concerts n there's a few bands I'll give this kind of praise.
Even when they came out n began to play there was a equipment malfunction but Kenny explained n apologized which I thought wasn't necessary cause things go wrong and shit happens. Excellent handling of the situation n the band played on.
KWS is great. His guitar playing is phenomena, keyboards ,bass, sound incredible then you add the lead vocals n what more could a Rockin & Roll blues group need. Outstanding job from a native son of louisiana and I just don't have the vocabulary to express how great the Band performed. 😎

Kingfish was a third of the way through his set before we could get in the venue! They need a quicker way to get people in the gate. I had seen Kenny and Buddy before, so I got what I expected; Buddy talking as much as singing and Kenny doing his usual hits. I was hoping he would do a little more blues. As far as I'm concerned, Kingfish WAS the show! Bold and strong bass and a rhythm that wouldn't stop. I was very impressed as I had never heard them before. Would love for them to come back around. All in all, it was a good show. They ran out of water to purchase (not everyone drinks beer)

The bands, were spectacular. King fish, aamazing! KwS phenominal as usual. Buddy Guy's guitar too loud, sound people had his volume much higher than anyone else in the band, it drowned out everyone else.
I was quite upset that my tickets I printed out said Kingfish started at 7:30 but he had already started playing when we arrived at 6:50. Then I checked the website which said 6:30. I.purchased my ticked back in July, and printed them out.

What a fantastic show! Between the intimate peeks in his personal life with videos from his wedding / family /past and music that rocked so hard for hours, the entire album of Trouble Is and new tunes they’ve been working on, it was super rad and one hundred percent satisfied. Every member of this band is so talented, performed with all they have and created memories for me that I’ll remember for years to come!

The Kenny Wayne Sheppard Band blew the roof off the joint last night. Anchored with Kenny’s brilliant guitar chops the whole band was tight and each member was featured with a solo and they all were very impressive. They played new songs and old with Blue on Black a crowd participation favorite. They closed the night with a towering rendition of Voodoo Child that just kept taking the energy higher and higher and higher with Kenny doing things on his guitar that were amazing. He is a real showman as works the crowd to give him the energy he gives back. At the end strikes the pose with his legs straight his head back looking to the heavens and hand pointing overhead in a wash of quad spotlights that made him look electrified. It was a gas. Can’t wait to see him again.

The last time I saw KWS was back in 1995 at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton MA along with two other bands whose names escape me right now. Was impressed with KWS as a teenage blues guitar slinger back then, and as I have kept buying and enjoying the albums since that time, the growth of him and his band has been a joy to experience. The show last night was confirmation for me of just how far KWS and his band have come since the "Trouble Is" album came out, and I still get verklepmt (that's emotional for the non-Yiddish fans) when they play Blue On Black even all these many years later.
I'm going to be seeing KWS again in August as part of a double bill with another blues-rock great Joe Bonamassa at the Norwell Health Theatre at Jones Beach NY. Can't wait!

KWS always puts on a high-energy show and electrifies the crowd with his signature guitar style. I've seen KWS 6 times since 1999 at the NYC BB King Blues Festival and this specific show was right up there at the top of his performances and stage presence. The addition of the keyboardist Joe Krown, trumpet player Mark Pender and saxophonist Joe Sublett elevated their sound to new heights. Can't wait to see them again with their reported new music.... hoping for a release in 2023.
Glenside, PA@Keswick Theatre
KWS did a great job showcasing the band. Mark Pender’s an excellent trumpet player, and Joe Krown was great on the keyboard. Shepherd himself owned up to an accidental shift to the wrong key, and humbly blamed himself! He’s got terrific energy and stage presence, and his solos are always interesting. He did a long announcement for an old ballad that was somewhat underwhelming though… gotta please the crowd.
It was an older crowd (self included!), 50-60s who enjoyed great rock blues.
KWS announced a new album is on the way.

Without a doubt the greatest guitar shows I've seen. The tandem of Kenny's guitar firey guitar prowess and Noahs rich and powerful vocals is just unreal. Spectacular. This line up included a horn section to serve up a complete and colorful performance in partnership with the B3 Hammond. All this standing firmly atop a tight and solid night of bass lines driven by none other than Chris Layton on drums. The mix was clean, well balanced and appropriate volume for the venue. Just an absolutely amazing and satiating night of music...Thank you!

UNFORGETTABLE! I saw this show live the weekend prior so seeing it again from different angles really supplemented an already magical night. Kenny Wayne, Noah & crew were ON FIRE! They BLEW THE ROOF OFF OF THE HISTORIC STRAND THEATER IN SHREVEPORT, LA ON 12 FEB 2022. It was a very special event for everyone involved, from Kenny Wayne to all of us hometown fans who have supported since before he was known by anyone.
Best concert of my entire life.
Yea. I'm talking about the concert itself as well as the live stream. Whoops! Lol. Kenny was PHENOMENAL! Going to see him again at the end of May just 2 hours away!

Don’t pass this one up! Unbelievable guitarist that will not disappoint. And such a standup guy as the first time we saw him was with Stephen Stills last year whose voice was not at its best, no disrespect Stephen, your a legend. It was obvious that KWS was just so honored to be on stage with him as he just smiled and so graciously gave Stephen the stage. That’s when we really wanted to see him as the headliner and he was more than incredible. We hope to never miss a show if he’s in town. He should be selling out stadiums!

I’ve seen KWS Band many times since the late ‘90s. They played hard at the show and did their best for sure. But when the music starts at 11am, by 7pm the crowds energy was past its peak imo. Also frankly the guys running the audio board for Kenny and the band let them down somewhat at the start of their set. Noah and Kenny’s mice were a problem along w the snare mic which was booming at one point. Aside from that though their set was rockin as always. Thanks so much guys!!!!

I've been going to see Kenny Wayne every time he comes to the Bay Area ever since he was 19. He blew away the Great American Music Hall back then and he and Noah just continue to get better and better with time. Always a great show. This last one was with the Experience Hendrix Show. We see that one every year too. Both the Davis and Oakland shows were fantastic. An incredible lineup of some of the greatest musicians of our time. Not to be missed!
