Folk singer-songwriter from Gold Country, California, Brianna Lea Pruett intertwines a wide mix of influences with modern folk songs from transplanted dust-bowl era Oklahoma, passed down through generations of sharecroppers and porch singers, infused with modern sounds. On recordings, her evocative, emotive style and traditional roots combine with an experimental aesthetic and appreciation for ambient noises.
