So glad to catch this band at a small venue before they get huge. The live sound was just as awesome as the record!

About Khaotika
The world of extreme metal is riddled with standards, norms, and stereotypes. With any art form however, the relentless and uncompromising are the ones who break these standards and push the boundaries into obscure unexplored territories. What Khaotika has conjured is a force that truly lives up to their name. Influenced by countless disciplines within the worlds of extreme metal, rock, and classical, describing Khaotika’s sonic offerings using pigeonhole terms is no simple task. Their live shows have a hypnotizing effect of the audience as Khaotika is able to deliver a truly mesmerizing experience, tapping into a force that can hardly be described, and is best left to be experienced. Khaotika was formed in early 2014 by vocalist and lyricist, Lariyah Hayes and other musicians from the Atlanta, Georgia area. Khaotika released their first E.P. “Bloodline Empire” in May of that year. “Bloodline Empire” was mastered at Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm, Sweden, known worldwide for bands such as Watain, Destroyer 666, Mayhem, Funeral Mist, and more. Shortly after, a music video for the song “Muerte” was released, followed by the single “Hallowed Grounds”. In April of 2015, Khaotika embarked on their first tour supporting Wormreich and Kult ov Azazel. It was on this tour that Khaotika, as well as Wormreich were involved in a fatal van accident which claimed the lives of two members of Wormreich as well as Khaotika’s drummer, Nicholas "Dyret" Crisostomo. Several more were seriously injured including Lariyah, and guitarist James 'Balor' Barile. Upon recovery, both physically and spiritually, Khaotika returned to the road, touring the Southern United States, and performing at Knotfest in California with Judas Priest, Inquisition, Belphegor, Kataklysm, Abysmal Dawn, Gwar, Sepultura, and many more. Soon after, Khaotika returned to the studio to record their full length debut. “The Flame Unleashed” was released on November 11th of 2015 to great acclaim. Music videos for the songs “Heretic Within” and “In the Shade ov Night” were released in support of the album. The album was, again, mastered at Necromorbus Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. Today, Khaotika continues as driven and relentless as ever whether it be on stage or in the studio. With plans for both studio and touring endeavors constantly being planned, and executed. Considering what they have been able to accomplish in their short tumultuous history, Khaotika has been taken to places of both tragedy and triumph and always emerged with the will, strength, and determination to continue down their path, thirsting for more. melodic occult metal
