Sarah Coloso

Sarah Coloso is a half British, half Filipino singer/songwriter from Scotland, currently living in South London. Playing her own brand of vibrant rock 'n' soul, Sarah's music is confessional - it comes from the belief that if a lyric hasn't been wrenched from the very guts of your most personal secrets, it's probably not worth saying. She has released four EPs to date: the home-recorded Streetlights in 2007, Ashes on the Wind in 2008, The Sky Below in 2009 and Made in Stars in May 2012. Sarah has played gigs around the UK, amongst them the prestigious Songwriter's Showcase at the Perthshire Amber Festival, the Dundee Literary Festival, the Free Range Folk Stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2012, and the Bandstand stage at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. In October 2012 she won two gongs in the international Online Music Awards for Best Music Video and Best International Artist. "Wonderful wonky pop." - Jim Gellatly
