About taria

Born in Nashville Tennessee, Taria has been surrounded by country music all of her life. When she was in her early teens, her folks would take her to the legendary Nashville Palace and Ernest Tubbs’ Midnight Jamboree where she would perform with Vern Gosdin & Del Reeves. Taria also made a guest appearances at Opryland Theme Park during that time. She was making a name for herself at an early age also performing at the Tennessee State Fair and festivals during this time in her life. When Taria was just fifteen, she was backstage at the Grand Ole’ Opry where she would frequent because of her love of traditional county music, but on this night a dream of hers was about to take place. One of her idols, Lorrie Morgan was signing an autograph for Taria when she told Lorrie that she was also a singer. Lorrie asked her to sing a little song for her and she was so impressed, that she asked Taria if she could do a repeat performance but this time for the crowd of the Grand Ole’ Opry. On November 29, 1997, Taria received a standing ovation for her rendition of "I Want To Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart" This led to an invitation for Taria to travel and open shows for Lorrie the following year. At the age of 19 opportunity knocked once again with her attending a rehearsal for the Memories Of Conway show featuring Conway’s Son, Michael and Grandson Tre’ Twitty. She was there only as a guest, but at the end of the rehearsal, Michael was told Taria was a singer and he asked her to sing Loretta’s part of the smash hit Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man just for fun. He hired her on the spot, opening shows for him and singing Loretta’s part in the many hits Conway and Loretta had together. Taria went on to release her debut album, Everybody Wants Some, produced by Ric Web, recording songs from hit songwriters, Mark Nesler, George Teren, Rivers Rutherford, Jennifer Hansen, Tony Martin, Steve Mcewan and Tom Shapiro, who have penned songs for the likes of Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Reba, George Strait, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Trisha Yearwood, just to name a few. Country4You staff writer, Marloes Lucy Duizer called Taria the Best Voice in Nashville and gave the album raving reviews along with Country Tattle Tale and The Country Site, online publication’s for country music lovers. Taria has relased her 2nd 5 song EP titled "Roads" Dec 2nd 2016. Taria’s true passion is being on stage, singing and performing to a live audience. Seeing and hearing the talent of Taria, with her dynamic delivery & electric stage presence, there’s no mistaking that this young lady is exactly where she needs to be when she steps out onto the stage. One gets the feeling they are witnessing something very special indeed.
