Ellen Amy

Raised on church hymns and traditional country music, Ellen Amy is an old soul with a fresh look. A lyrically driven songwriter, striving to make the audience 'feel something powerful' through her music. Inspired by songwriters such as Nicolle Galyon, The Mcclymonts, Sara Haze, Kelsea Ballerini, John Williamson and Sam Hunt- Ellen Amy has proved herself to be a talented songwriter. Ellen Amy became a full time musician in 2014, playing over 300 gigs in 3 years. As well as playing at the Tamworth Country Music Festival each year, Ellen has played on the Gympie Music Muster main stage and Sydney Country Music Festival. Ellen has opened shows and been a special guest for big name country music artists such as Christie Lamb, Amber Lawrence, The Viper Creek Band and Victoria Avenue to name a few. In 2017 Ellen has proudly taken on the occasional role of 'pre-show entertainer' at the Australian Outback Spectacular' on the Gold Coast QLD.
