Hailing from humble Newtown, we’re expecting great things from Alex Davies this summer as some inspirational alpine writing has lead to some sweat and tears in the studio. Starting off on the festival circuits - playing the likes of Boomtown, Beach Break, Nozstock and every other small festival and pub in-between, he then went international - playing five consecutive winter seasons of gigs around the ski resorts of Meribel, Tignes, Courchevel, Val D’Isere and beyond! Alex has matured as one of the leading solo musicians on the European scene – he mixes great covers of well known classics with his own infectious ska/hip hop influenced pop tunes, as well as following the original songwriting roots from which he came!
