Jason Reed Music

The Reed Brothers Band is a high energy, indie-rock band with funk and blues influences. The band features brothers Trevor Reed (drums) Dan Reed (guitar) and Jason Reed (vocals) along with "honorary" brothers Jay Moore (bass) and Chuck Whiteman (sax). On stage the band mixes it up with big rhythms, trading guitar and saxophone solo's with a raw energy that spills out into the audience. They have performed as a featured artist at the World Cafe Live, Turks Head Music Festival, The Legendary Dobbs and much more. Jason's debut album "The Big Unknown" covers a lot of ground both stylistically and thematically including songs about fatherhood and serving in Mogadishu with the Marines. Their music has also been featured on 88.5 WXPN, 93.7 WSTW and several other radio programs in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. Jason is also among the ranks of many notable, national acts as a volunteer for WXPN's, Musicians on Call - A national program which brings live music to the bedside of hospital patients undergoing treatment.
