The Grifted

While The Grifted may be a new name to some, their DNA is woven into the very fabric of Swedish Death Metal. Featuring founding members of the legendary Treblinka and Tiamat, this Stockholm-based quintet isn't just "old school"—they are the school.

Born from the ashes of Mr. Death, The Grifted delivers a relentless masterclass in the classic "Sunlight Studio" sound. Their debut album, Doomsday & Salvation (Personal Records), was recorded under the watchful eye of the iconic Tomas Skogsberg, ensuring that every riff carries that unmistakable HM-2 chainsaw bite. Blending high-velocity death metal with a raw, punk-rock insolence and a grim, spiteful edge, The Grifted proves that the true spirit of Stockholm remains unkillable.
