Boone Cook and The Remains

Boone Cook & The Remains is a 4 piece country/ rock band that hails from central Texas. With over 100 shows a year and thousands of miles traveled the band is ready to bring a high energy show to a venue near you. Formed in 2012, the band soon put a 3 song self titled EP out. With two successful singles from that first release, the band gained attention and steam. The band was fortunate to have the opportunity to open for some of the biggest names in Texas/ Red Dirt music and play in some of the scene's most iconic venues. In the middle of 2013 Boone Cook & The Remains went back into the studio, this time under the production of Bart Rose. Over the next few months the band and Bart pieced together a full length album. With the title "Redemption", the album held keys to the various stages in Boone's writing styles. Each song was unique and performed with it's own life and personality. Once completed "Redemption" was ready for release. Once released the band embarked on a CD release tour that covered multiple venues across Texas and Oklahoma. The album was met with optimism and its release helped gain the band more attention and secure new venues throughout 2014. Boone Cook & The Remains find themselves moving forward into 2015. Armed with a new guitar player and a amped-up show the band is ready to tackle a hard summer tour season. They plan to venture off into other states to help spread the music far and wide. Also, the band hopes to crawl back into the studio to start the long tedious job of recording a new project. The band is thankful for the opportunities they have been given and for the loyal fan base that is ever growing.
