City On Fire

Ci†y On Fire™ was first just an idea of a side project for City to explore and experiment with music whilst in the already successful Christian hip hop group www.facebook.com/lifesavingdecision. City got the name from a 2007 film called "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" which is a 2007 horror musical film directed by Tim Burton. The Band name stuck with him for over 4 years until it was birthed after his best friend and band mate Kevin Beebe (Founder of Life Saving Decision) was killed by a drunk driver on March 6th of 2011. www.facebook.com/kevinbeebe The meaning of "City On Fire" had never really surfaced until May 1st (May Day) when City got lyrics for a self titled song "City On Fire". The song takes place in a dark night of the soul. A man's soul is related to that of a City, with streets, buildings, rooms etc... As with all Cities there are really nice areas and then you have run down bad areas. God wants to expose all of those dark bad areas in your soul and consume them with Holy Spirit Fire. Once God cleanses you of the sin and darkness in your soul, you can then start changing the world around you, be it your town, your City, your state and even country. Through God you can set your "City On Fire". COF was sparked after his band-mate was killed March 6th 2011
