Five Decade Faint

They have been a band since July, 2013 in Sydney and Five Decade Faint are playing evermore resourcefully with gifted performances, awesome, original material and “killer” cover interpretations. The group was initiated by drummer Peter Clunie in collaboration with Julian Loschiavo who plays lead guitar and not long after they were joined by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Geoff Quan. With the recent addition of the bass player, Oliver Cartwright, Five Decade Faint is again on the road and working well, taking fine performances in their stride. The members of Five Decade Faint are driven by their varied musical histories additional to the band’s current inspirations in the Metal, Punk and Hard Rock genres they represent so well. This band is formally educated in its genre as well as being relevant and hard-working. There has been a turnover in those who’ve played bass with this band. Now Peter, Geoff, Julian and Oliver spend a greater part of their lives inspired by and absorbed in music, performing and composing in the genres that most pique their interest, most especially Metal and Punk repertoire. You just need to hear them in action! Five Decade Faint’s sound is not unlike Foo Fighters or Linkin Park.
