Kodey Brims

Singer, songwriter and producer Kodey Brims has one foot in reality and the other in her imagination.

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Brims has lived and performed around the world. At the age of 18 she left home to study with a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in the United States. There, songwriting classes helped craft her honest lyrics and catchy melodies, while competitive a cappella shaped her unique sound. Brims always uses her vocals to strengthen the sonic landscapes of her songs.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Songwriting, Brims spent a year living and working in Nashville, USA where she learned valuable co-writing skills and performed with a full band at City Winery. Five years of immersion in the American music industry led Brims unexpectedly to Spain.

Starting a new life with her wife in Madrid, Brims set her mind on adding a new skill set to her belt: producing. She received a Master of Music Production from DJP Music School where she won the award for “Best Final Production.” In Madrid Brims has performed at venues such as Sala Caracol and in 2020 was a finalist in the Acqustic Artist Accelerator Program
