Aynsley Lister

For me Atnsley Lister is one of Britain's finest blues-rock guitarists. It’s hard not to draw comparisons with legendary musicians. Aynsley is at the very top of his game and has his own inimitable style. Great paylist: Including Everything I need, Home, Hurricane, Stepin' Out... Aynsley ended the main show with a rousing renditions of Prince’s Purple Rain, Much to the delight of the crowd. My guess no Alnsley show is complete without P-P-R. :-)

The venue is very good for a village hall! Good sound and lighting. Aynsley was excellent as always!!! Never seen him do a solo gig before; very entertaining and makes you appreciate even more what a talented guitarist and songwriter he is!!! Been watching him for over 30 years now, good as ever !!!! I had never heard of Ainsley Lister before this event but wow, can he play guitar! Probably as good a guitarist as I have ever seen live and his band were also very accomplished musicians. Overall a great show which deserves a much bigger venue.

Tatsächlich wieder 5 Sterne für Herrn Lister und die Band. Gewohnt toller Abend. Zudem hatte er Geburtstag, was seiner und der Band Spiellaune keinen Abbruch tat. Ich denke - im Gegenteil. Im Publikum treue Fans, zumal die Band seit 25 Jahren regelmäßig in der Bluesgarage zu Gast ist. Insofern "Bombenstimmung".

Fantastisch concert, een van de mooiste die ik bijgewoond heb. Met een steengoede band, die als een geoliede machine samenspeeld, was het een optreden dat een tijdje bij zal blijven. Aynsley moet met zijn kwaliteiten veel meer optredens in Nederland krijgen,

This was the first time I'd seen the Aynsley Lister band and after this performance it definitely won't be the last. The man is amazing on the guitar and his rendition of Purple Rain was out of this world. The bass player Jono Martin and drummer Craig Bacon were fantastic as well I can't recommend this band highly enough. Go and see them, you won't be sorry

Just superb, such a powerful trio. venue in the guildhall was excellent. just an absolute great show. Do yourself a favour get out and see these guys you won't be dissapointed 10 out of 10

Tolle Show mit dem Ausnahme-Gitarristen Aynsley Lister. Mit dem besten der aktuellen CD und Songs wie Purple Rain ist es immer wieder ein Highlight. Vor allem vielen Dank an die Tontechnik, die einen perfekten Sound gezaubert haben. Wir kommen wieder 🤘

Der Veranstaltungsort war für das Event sehr gut, es waren ca. 70 Personen und außer Steh- auch Sitzplätze. Aynsley bot eine super Show, seine Gitarrenperformance war grandios, auch der Bass und das Schlagzeug sehr überzeugend. Der Schlagzeuger spielt seit seinem dritten Lebensjahr, das hat man an der Ausdruckskraft und Leichtigkeit seiner Spielart sehr bewusst wahr genommen. Ein perfekter Abend mit toller Musik zum Entspannen und Genießen.

The Playing With Fire music festival was great but Aynsley Lister and his band were by far the best part of the weekend. They played a great set with with an amazing version of Purple Rain. I will be making it a point to follow and support this great Band. 5 Stars are not enough.

Great gig. Refreshing to not have a support act - straight into a fantastic set covering all of Aynsley's output - good sound, very comfortable Venue - hope Aynsley and his band will come again! Highly recommended. Love the LP (Everything I need) I picked up - great to meet the band after the gig.

Awesome performance and show with great sound. Nice, intimate venue too. I'd seen Aynsley here a few times before in the late '90s and early '00s, so not for 20 years apparently. How time flies! But he's better than ever. A range of songs from across his career played. Seating was in the cabaret table format, but nonetheless the audience was appreciative and vocal, and gave the band a standing ovation pre and post encore. A good night. I bekive sold out, or very nearly. Tasty beers from St Ives Brewery too.

I go to The Waterloo with my mates quite often, love the venue and the atmosphere and the recent improvements have just added to an already great place. We saw the band here about a year ago and were very impressed. This time they were even better, stunning in fact, the most powerful and dynamic three piece I have seen for years. The Drummer and bassist ( Boneto Dryden and Steve Amadeo ? ) were fabulous, amazing. Aynsley himself was superb, unsurpassed guitarist, great singer, and a great host and front man. The band reminded me of The Allman Brothers, Little Feat and The Sons of Champlin. Will definitely see them next time they are around.

Finally got to see Aynsley for the first time, definitely not the last. Really enjoyed the gig, Aynsley manages to make it look so effortless but his guitar playing & vocals are fantastic. The three of them Aynsley, Craig & Johno clearly have a great relationship & work so well together. Thanks guys, you were great.

The venue is small and unique,it holds a good atmosphere and keeps everyone rocking 👍 As for Aynsley lister he was on fire 🔥 it's one of the best gig's we've seen him play,we look forward to seeing him return soon thank you all!!!

I’ve seen Aynsley only on six occasions & it’s been great, but I have to say he’s gig with his band at the musician was absolutely outstanding. If no one has caught one of his show’s I strongly recommend if he’s ever near you go & see him.

Fantastic gig, Aynsley was solo this evening, without his band. The performance was amazing, guitar work faultless and what a voice. Cant wait to see him in Southampton with the full band in September!

This was the first time id seen /heard Ansley, and i amazed! Such a talent brilliant guitarist and silky clear vocals . He had a great band around him and an amazing keyboardist . There was no support(which i actually like) and he played s long set with s break in the middle . Im a new fan!
