Sevendust

The venue was great; small enough to be intimate, but large enough to not be overly crowded. The bathroom was pretty clean, drunk people messes not withstanding. We were on the floor, but checked out the view from the gallery earlier in the evening and was pleased with the view from up there. Sevendust always puts on a stellar show, and this was no exception. Looking forward to seeing them again soon.

Sevendust was a bucket list performance I was excited about. The show started with Lines of Loyalty out of Wisconsin. These guys were a power trio that had great stage presence, energy, performance and sound quality. They were followed by DOPE who I was familiar with but never followed. They were powerful and energetic with a tight, punchy energy that had the crowd jamming. Great lighting and stage presence, just an overall great performance. Then came Sevendust. I was satisfied overall but was disappointed for several reasons. You can tell Lajon is tired on this third leg of the tour. He struggled to hit notes frequently, relying on the crowd to back him up. I'd say he was on 75-80% and off 20-25% of the time. The harmonies were the same percentage, sometimes quite noticeably out of tune. There were also some feedback issues that were remedied after the second tune. Their sound and lighting were pretty decent, but they filled the theater so heavily with smoke 4 or 5 times you couldn't even see the stage. I would like to catch them at the 3rd or 4th show of a new tour next time. Overall, I was glad to see them perform, but I must admit I was a bit disappointed. Enter Static-X for my first time as well. They were a very impressive live performance all around the board. Great sound, great energy, great stage presence & lighting. They were the headliner for a reason, and I could not sit down for their entire show! I am a new lifetime fan of Static-X! My only complaint regarding their set was the nearly 45-minute stage swap. Not bad for an only complaint, right? Overall, this was a great rock show, and I had a very good time~!

Got there too late for Dope and the opener. Had some beers and chicken tenders w/ fries including delicious honey mustard and spicy ranch dressing..Sevendust was amazing as always. The sound was a little rough but the energy was great. Static-X had a performance would liken to stories I’ve heard about early Iron Maiden shows. The giant pumpkin headed guy at the beginning, the “X” man dancing through some songs like a reimagining of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER for the “Evil Dico era, and the giant stomping zombie man for the song Z0mbie. The show was frenetic and constantly driving hard and ferocious. Saw Static at SLIM’S a while back and Sevendust at the Catalyst too. They Never Ever disappoint. Kev

Always an absolutely amazing show!! My friends and I have been following Sevendust since the late 90's and had become friends with all the guys in the band. Our friend, Jeff Rosati, passed away in December. But he always bought his tickets for the shows as soon as they were released, so the Madison show was the last show he had boughten tickets for, so we went in his honor. We parked ourselves in front of Clint, as Jeff would always do, and rocked the night way. I know Jeff was right there with us. LJ & the guys always took time to acknowledge Jeff at shows, as they were actually personal friend for over 25 years, and took the time during meet and greet to let us know that he will never be forgotten and will be forever rocking out and every Sevendust concert. Thank you LJ, Clint, Vinny, John, & Morgan for all the love you showed him throughout the years. He cherished your friendship deeply.

SEVENDUST WAS AWESOME!!!! As usual! I have never heard of Lines of Loyalty and am ok with that, they were not good. I have also never heard of Dope, but they were good, and so was Static X! Nice venue, I wish I had known that the line was in the casino, I would have come later so I didn’t have to breathe in second hand smoke for an hour prior to getting let in to the venue but other than that, very nice, would come back!

I gotta say they sounded good after finally seeing them after all these years when I used to listen to them in middle/high school. Wish they played more from home (only played Denial) and played nothing from Animosity album:( That’s what happens when you see a band late in the game and they had to cancel their animosity date at Jannus due to a hurricane the year prior.

The concert was awesome, loved meeting the band and getting pictures with them. Me ,my father, and older brother had to leave early during Sevendust set because it got really crazy with people crowdsurfing. I came out unharmed and the staff was amazing with that. Other than it being so crazy it was fun. Would recommend getting seats if it’s a small venue like this one and don’t want to be in the pit. Met some lovely people there and overall was a great night

Sevendust performed as they always do...full out! Sevendust NEVER disappoints! If you've never seen them and want to see what a great rock/metal show is...see Sevendust! The gold standard! Have seen them well over 50 times and NOT ONCE have I ever felt like they were just going through the motions! They play like the show I'm at is their only show they have! Foxwoods theater not a great place for music however...acoustics not that great!

SEVENDUST Is A GREAT Band LIVE!!! They're Some Of The Nicest Guys I Know,I've Known Them Since 1997 And I Was Very Excited That They Were Coming To My Hometown,Very Surprised That They Were Opening Up For Another Band.The Palace Is An OUTSTANDING Venue,The Sound Is Amazing,And The Decor Is SPECTACULAR,The Staff Is Very Nice And Helpful As Well,To See A Show At This Venue Is A MUST SEE!!! ♥️

3rd time I’ve seen them in less than a year, close to 40 times since 97’ and there is a reason why I have seen them so many times. Discovered the boys in 1997 while in college. Drove 3 hrs, alone, to see Clutch and Limp Bizkit. Had Never heard of the opener Sevendust. The moment I heard the intro of Black to open the show I became a huge fan of what I had no idea at the time was gonna be close to 30 yrs and 14 albums of amazing heavy music. I feel like I have known these guys my whole life and they don’t even know I exist. They have had such an impact and played a huge role in my life from their influence. I’ve been a guitarist for 27 years now because of these guys. And any musician can vouch for me that the band that turned them on to their instrument is a band that you can never get tired of. Can someone please tell me what other band has released 14 studio albums, over 175 songs and not one bad song. All albums are amazing from start to finish. So to still be at every show within a 150 mile radius 27 years later should tell you just how amazing last nights show was. On top of all of that, I had been hospitalized the entire week before the show with a some skin complications and I told my drs that I had to be discharged by May 9th or I was leaving on my own. Luckily everything worked out and I was discharged yesterday and literally drove 2 hrs from the hospital to the show, on crutches I may add, to see the best live band that is active. That’s how good the show was last night and the 38 other times I have seen them.

Ive been waiting 15+ years to see you in NYC. Loved watching you live and was close to the stage. Lajon is so personable and easygoing. His voice has always been hypnotizing! The band didnt disappoint playing my favorite album that means the world to me. I wish the merch available at the venue was on your site. Great experience! Please come back and especially to Staten Island, NY. +vibes!

Great line up for this show, especially Burden of the Sky and Nonpoint opening for Sevendust, Bastardane was ok, just seemed like an odd fit in the line up and just not my cup of tea but they were tight and delivered what I would compare to Motorhead meets Volbeat kind of sound. Burden of the Sky had a lot of energy and were able to get the crowd going even though not many people heard of them before the show. I got to spend some time talking to them after their set and they were a bunch of genuinely nice funny guys who are doing what they are doing for the love of the music and performing, it showed in their set! Hopefully they get the chance to perform more on a higher level because I would love to hear more from them! While have listened to Nonpoint for years and have a few of their cds this was the first time seeing them live and they delivered. Their set was full of high energy and they were on point! The only thing I would like to have heard was more of them but alas they were being an opener on this night. Then there was the mighty Sevendust! This was my 8th time seeing them and they deliver every single time! They are one of the tightest, most incredible live bands you can see. Tonight was no exception either! It was hot, the pit was slamming, and that darn ceiling fan was doing nothing (you had to be there, lol!)! Great show! I give it 5 stars!

One of the if not the best performance I’ve seen from Sevendust out of the dozen shows I’ve seen from them. I’ve never seen a bad show from them and everyone of them has been awesome. This one was my favorite 7D show hands down (and I’ve seen some great ones) Sound, song selection, stage lighting, energy. They freakin killed it in every way possible!

Amazing opening bands stitched up heart and deep fall very talented and good music! would love to see them again! Seven dust was my first ever rock band show got me into loving rock music and It’s always an amazing time seeing them play live especially this year again felt special! I lost my phone in the moshing pit, and the guy I came with, lost his shoe 😂 still was a lot fun! everyone who were in the pit were kind enough to look on ground and help find our belongs that were lost. Good news all was found right after! Happy New Years everyone that was there last night and Sevendust hopefully see you guys in the next family reunion. 🤘💕🥳

Was really only there to see Sevendust, other bands were good, good music, good between song banter, but like I said, was primarily there to see Sevendust. I really felt cheated, they only played 6 or so songs, 6 songs.....really!? Truth be told, Sevendust should have headlined! Have seen them half a dozen times, every time a superlative show. No gimmicks, no lazer light show or costumes, just a whole lot of in your face, kick ass metal!

If I am honest, I did not go into this show a huge Sevendust fan. I went for another band. That being said....they were Amazing!! Their energy was infectuous & it was palabable. They lifted the roof off the place. I am so glad I didn't miss them. The vocals were on fire he had this grit and bluesy tone I didn't expect. Their stage prescence as a whole was fantastic & from my vantage point one of the guitarists went and got some drumsticks for a couple of really young fans at the side of the stage seeing maybe thier first concerts with their Dads and that was awesome to see. Guess I am going to have to look into them a bit more. Music creates fans and live shows such as this makes new ones! Thank you for a fantastic night and wonderful memories.

Every time I go to a Sevendust show, I feel the emotion of the band. Lajon tears up seeing and feeling the love of the crowd. The energy of the fans is so thick, it feels like we are one large organism for an hour and a half. I never have a Better time at any other concert than a Sevendust concert!

I was just so happy to see such a packed house on account of the weather we ended up having that night. That just goes to show you these guys have loyal fans, me included. I love Sevendust and never miss a show if I can help it. They never disappoint and you can just tell the love is mutual. Can't wait to see them again in May!

Such an amazing atmosphere. It was emotional and such a highlight when Sevendust came on stage. It has been 11 years since they were last in the UK. Definitely hope to see them again in the UK real soon. As for the support bands; All that Remains and Blind Channel, all I can say is great job being the first time I've seen either band, but obviously, Sevendust won me over...😎😎

Really liked Wilson...lot of energy and great tone. Butcher Babies... that's another story. Their drummer is the mastermind behind the band. I found BB to be a novalty act. The hot brunette singer does not look like she belonged there at all. thumbs down to BB. Sevendust...first time seeing them. this is a small venue...However....could not hear the guitars at all..just mostly kick drums and bass..SD was good though. maybe HOB will sound better tonight.
