About Stone Slaves
In the late months of 2007, Stone Slaves came to life in a rehearsal room in a small town in the Alentejo, Portugal. The common desire to make music together was innate and in no time it´s members would drop everything else they were doing. Step by step, The Stone Slaves fan base grew its share of followers who are equally determined not to let rock die. In 2009 they came across a North American Music Producer, Marco Jung, that gave the band a new life. In 2011, The Stone Slaves won series of prizes for various contests from the North to South of Portugal and letters started appearing from new fans around the world. In 2012, more than 50 concerts later, 'Tear Down These Walls' appears on the strength of four years of road grit and determination. Meanwhile after a 5 years break they returned, this time with Marco Jung on the guitar, to do the 2nd Album of originals. 'Candies For Grown Ups' will be released in 2018.
