(Tip Berlin) Rooted in the singer-songwriter tradition, Jenny Weisgerber’s musical inspiration ranges from pop and classical music to jazz and experimental sound design. Her two records, "When Worlds Collide"(SoulMaid Records) and "Ambitious Love"(Soulmaid / Kartini Music) were produced by award-winning record producer and songwriter Colin Bass. Her music garnered high praise and comparisons with Heather Nova and Joni Mitchell while Rolling Stone magazine recommended her to Nora Jones fans. Jenny Weisgerber has performed concerts in Europe, Asia and North America, solo and with band. She was invited as special guest on the European tour of British rock legends Barclay James Harvest and headlined at the World Music Festival MONJU in Indonesia. On her next tour Jenny Weisgerber will be accompanied by guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Dirk Homuth. Currently she is putting the final touches to her new album "Ashes to Stardust".
