Ben Colmen

Ben Colmen was born and raised in Hungary. He lived and breathed music from a young age and was a huge classic rock fan. He first heard electronic music in early 2003 and promptly set up his first studio. After DJing for a while he founded "Special Tech Night" in 2005. He quickly became known across Hungary, playing at and throwing many great parties. In the fall of 2008 Ben moved to Vancouver, Canada to start his career. In 2010 Ben signed on with Dot Dot Records, and Vancouver's Hi-life Records shortly after. His first album "Africa" EP was released by England's Celestial Recordings in 2011. This brought forth a lot of recognition and support from international DJ's such as Stonebridge, Sander Kleinenberg, Roger Sanchez, Richard Dinsdale and many more... Following the successful release of his album Ben was contracted to be one of Celestial Recordings main artists. This year Ben Colmen has founded his very own radio show, "Attention Radio" on UDJradio from Toronto. Shortly after he got residency Vancouver's best undergound house & techno night You Plus One's Plus Friday's at Shine Night Club where he's playing with such an internation artist like Lee Burridge, Jesse Rose, Jay Tripwire, Slow Hands, Chopstick just name a few.
