About Strangefish

Strangefish are a progressive rock band hailing from Manchester, UK. The band is comprised of:

Steve Taylor - Vocals
Paul O'Neill - Keyboards
Julian Gregory - Bass, Violins, Mandolin, Viola
"Bob" - Guitars
Dave Whittaker - Drums and Percussion

They are currently unsigned, and have independantly financed and published the following releases.

Reeled In EP - a four track demo that won them several Classic Rock Society awards nominations in 2003, winning the Best New Band, Best Male Vocalist and Best Drummer categories.

Full Scale - their debut full length album.

Fortune Telling - the follow-up to Full Scale, taking the form of a story-telling concept album.

The band's influences include Marillion, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, Caravan Yes, Jethro Tull and many others.
