The Americana genre these days is centered around Nostalgia, the way things used to be. Albert Nicholas is a reminder that those days are not long gone. The Small Town feel is still alive and thriving. Albert was raised in a small paper mill town, lived across the street from a rodeo, in a small house in the woods next to the river and now on a farm. Albert knows a thing or two about Small Towns and captures the sound of small Town Oregon and it’s backroads. This is also were Albert puts his focus on playing. Hip bars in the city are fun and have their place but nothing beats the local spot in a small mountain, coastal or high desert town.
