UNKNWN is a collective human ‘space’ of action, exploration and creation, which includes music, visual and video-art, a project that conceives different and independent paths where instrumental and electronic live performances can be developed. The band members come from different musical backgrounds but, all gathered together in this experience, they are giving birth to a not-easily-definable kind of music, a true synthesis of synth-pop, IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), alternative and experimental electronic music. In UNKNWN’s musical research, specific interest is directed to sound and poetry-lyrics, one of the keys of interpretation of their music; the song-form explodes giving rise to a musical genre-trespass. Dynamic, quick, open to various ideas, with no preconceptions about musical structures and aesthetic canons, the band makes its own music in a free state of mind, unconditioned, brave sometimes, building up unusual live sets with video screening, making every show peculiar and elegant, unique.
